Biography

Edward L. Mabry (1898-1989) was the chief executive of Vick Chemical Co. He was hired after graduating from high school in Greensboro, North Carolina in 1916. He worked in accounting, sales, advertising. He was named president in 1948, and chairman in 1957. He retired in 1964. He privately published 18 books of poetry and sayings.
