Scope and Contents
Writes from Buffalo Creek, N.Y., describing the town; visited Niagara Falls; there is a want of farmers in the country; almost all inhabitants at present rely on the Indians for their beef, pork, veal, etc.; this place is the only channel of communication between the western and eastern states; describes water passage to Mississippi River; may be admitted to the bar here; there is considerable bustle in town because the Six Nations are meeting to receive their annuity of the agent.
