Describes his return trip and the condition of the roads; gives news of family and friends; describes the work of Reverend Dan Huntington; tells her the date appointed as Thanksgiving and that she will not be able to remain in Norwich; Dan Huntington has assured him that he doesn't think of leaving Litchfield- Wolcott did not ask him about his father's purchase at Hadley, MA. Betsey Collins will continue to keep school in their street.
