Two letters to Kate from her friend Jenny in Hitchcockville and Cornwall.From Hitchcockville on May 10, 1851, she writes news of Washington, Conn.; and her friends in Hitchcocksville. From a school in Cornwall, in a letter dated Jan 28, 1854, Jenny writes about her loneliness in the town; and sharing a room with 3 other girls, 2 from Milton. Jennie is probably Jane M. Upson who is listed in "Circular of the Judea Female Seminary, Washington, Conn. for the academic year ending April 14, 1849.
