Scope and Contents
Folder includes photos of Harold Colvocoresses in uniform, USMC. Photos of Rear Admiral George P. Colvocoresses in U.S. Navy uniform dated 1896 and 1911. Also a photo of Admiral George P. Colvocoresses holding a cat and his grandson - Harold, Jr. holding a small drum. A photo dated Sept. 30, 1923 identifying Rear Admiral Colvocoresses, Capt. Harold Colvocoresses and Gra. (Grandmother) Colvocoresses Jones. Other photos include George Jones (husband) and Eva Jones, Mrs. George M. Colvocoresses - Marian Hagen(?)of Numia, New Caledonia, (her mother was Australian, her father German). (George was a mining engineer in New Caledonia). Other photos of Marie Colvocoresses, Eva F. Colvocoresses dated 1873, a 7" x 3½" photo depicting a ceremony honoring G. P. Colvocoresses returning from the Spanish War dated 1898, Harry Lee (one in uniform) and Josephine Colvocoresses dated 1942.
