Scope and Contents
Daybook dating from 5 Jan 1795 to 29 August 1795 containing entries for dry goods such as salt, butter, rum, molasses, fabric, ribbons, tamarinds, etc. Also contains a listing of goods shipped to New York. Two African Americans, Jethro and Peter, are listed as "Negroes living at Col. Canfields." There are several entries for work done on windows by Daniel Line and one for Jabez Hurd to painting the barn. There are two entries mentioning work done on the Aspetuck River, one for work removing a covering and another for a fence. The last page includes listings for various animals grazing on Boardman's land and associated fees.
