Blotter No. 13, 1801-1802

Item 6

 Item — four-flap enclosure: 17
Identifier: Item 6

Scope and Contents

This blotter contains numbers to the left of each entry that may refer to pages in day books. Several of them note the number of the day book in which the entry was transferred, but most do not.

Mentions of African Americans in this volume include Cyrus Negro, who purchased English Powder on 25 Sept 1801.

The volume includes a great deal of agricultural trade in pork, firkins of butter, and other goods. Several entries note weight of pork or beef from Vermont, though it is unclear whether the livestock belonged to Boardman. Several entried for work done for the school or town are listed, as well as a tax on library membership.

The final page of the blotter contains An Account of Pork put up 1801 and 1802.
