Scope and Contents
Located on the Naugatuck in what was Fluteville. In the photograph are a one story building used as a saw mill, and the two story grist mill. The river and railroad tracks run behind the building, with Harwinton in the background. It was owned by the Shanley family from 1867 until about 1957 when the government bought it for flood control.
