Phelps, Chloe R. May to Phelps, William, [1828-1839]
Folder 2
File — Folder: 2
Identifier: Folder 2
Scope and Contents
Two letters, the first concerns William being away on business in Albany and his request for his wife to see if a plate for printing had come in to town for him. Chloe responds that there was a mix up and the plate had been sent away because those in town believed that he had moved to New York permanently. The second letter is about her everday activities in town, various townspeople, and a story about a minister who was in town.
