Three letters; the first regarding selling a horse as well as a list of some money Winthrop sent home; the second regarding Lucy's decision for a new house to rent and of some purchases she made; the third letter, includes Lucy's description of the new house and also mentions the bills she has and the purchases she needs to make. It also includes a description of a robbery by Joel Oaks and of the subsequent arrest and investigation.
