Scope and Contents
Two letters, in the first letter Lucy talks about expenses for Winthrop E.’s school as well as wanting to visit her husband. This letter also includes a letter to Lucy from A. Miner about a debt he owes Winthrop and instructions to forward it to him in order to get a receipt. In the second letter, Lucy lists her debts as well as the story of the selling of the family horse in a trade for a cow. This letter also includes a letter from Harriet Phelps describing her new hat and information on family and friends.
