5 letters, in the first letter William discusses daily activities, his and Chloe’s feelings on being away from home, and stories about business associates. In the second letter, he discusses business, William’s journey with Winthrop H. Phelps, and a need for a new pair of gloves. In the third letter, William describes how he wants to make his wife happy and why he is staying away on business longer. Also described are church and visits with friends. In the fourth letter, William talks about Chloe coming to visit and about the printing business. In the fifth letter, William describes some daily activities and some suggestion to Chloe to improve her health.
