3 letters, all three letters talk about the upcoming visit of Lucy. In the first letter Winthrop talks about troop movements, having dinner with Col. Kellogg, and the death and health of soldiers. He also discusses Lucy’s recent letters, and about the children. In the second letter, Winthrop talks about inspection, a sermon he gave, and describes what is happening in camp. In the third letter, he talks about troop movements, changes occurring in camp, helping a prisoner, and burying a soldier.
