6 letters, each of these letters is written by John M. Morris on behalf of the journal, The Connecticut War Record. The first letter discusses changes that need to be made to the records of the journal and when the January issue is coming out. The second letter is a receipt saying they received sixty dollars from Winthrop. In the third letter, John extends his apologies for mix-ups caused by the journal and issues not being sent. In the fourth letter, John discusses fixing his records and acknowledges receiving money from Winthrop. In the fifth letter, he talks about editing he did to one of Winthrop’s recent articles and thanks him for his work. In the sixth letter, John talks about receiving a letter from Winthrop right as he sent his previous and that he attended to a matter discussed in Winthrop’s letter.
