Scope and Contents
3 clippings, each is a list of casualties which is divided by company and tells which men were killed or wounded. The first lists casualties from a battle near a place called Winchester on September 19, 1864. The second lists casualties from a fight near Strasburg on September 21 and 22, 1864. The third list casualties from the battle of Cedar Creek, on in October 1864. Each clipping cites Rev. Winthrop H. Phelps as the person who sent the reports in.
