Scope and Contents
4 pages of notes, the first note is a list of reasons for joining the army as a chaplain and the reasons against it. Also included is a list of things that would need to be attended to if he left. The second note gives the religious reasons for the formation of The Christian Association of the 2[sup]nd[/sup] Connecticut Volunteer Artillery. The third note is a list of casualties from Company E of the 2[sup]nd[/sup] Connecticut Volunteer Artillery. The third note is a draft for a table, listing the number casualties in the regiment by company, degree of injury, and the engagement which it occurred.
