Scope and Contents
Letter dated 14 Oct 1775 from Ephraim Kirby to his parents and siblings from Winterhill Camp in Charlestown. He writes that he is well, living in a tent, and will be dismissed in about 6 weeks. The outside of the letter is addressed to Abraham Kirby at Litchfield, to the care of Reynold Marvin. Also a letter from Ephraim Kirby to Stephen Twining in New Haven dated 10 Feb 1800 inquiring whether Twining had ever called him "an infidel" and Twining's response dated 18 Feb 1800 responding that he probably had.
