Masefield praises Bull's little book ‘full of bright promise’ (probably VERSE printed in 1916); laments wet weather and muddy battlefield conditions along the Somme. Envelope addressed to "Miss Dorothy Bull, 45, West 53rd Street, New York City, Les Etats Unis” is stamped by "Field Censor 3992".
