HILL CREST, BOAR’S HILL, OXFORD. Undated. [1926 August inferred]. Masefield welcomes news that Bull is ‘running a school’; observes she will do it ‘so well’ and make the children ‘so happy'; offers to read or tell stories to 'her children...for as long as they can endure'. [Bull co-founded the Spring Hill School (1926-1939) with Mabel Spinney.] Masefield notes he and his wife [Constance] will be staying with Mr. and Mrs. [Thomas W.] Lamont when visiting New York City; closes with wishes that the school will make Bull happy for years to come.
