HILL CREST. BOAR’S HILL, OXFORD. Augt 4. 1920. Masefield calls Bull's contributions to "The Hist of Litchfield" (White, 1920),"so well written" and sends her "as a curiosity", the newsprint reproduction of "our late German King" [Kaiser Wilhelm II]. "We aren’t very proud of...the royal imbecile...[here in]...state dress, with ermine. The painting* is still, probably, at Windsor," he concludes. [*by Strassberger?]
