Scope and Contents
Primarily due bills for goods at Boardman's store in New Milford. A note of 26 Jun 1804 written in Bridgeport indicates that Boardman owes Robert Lines forty dollars on a settlement which will be paid within sixty days. Another dated 19 Jun 1804 offers Mr. Abel Merwin two dollars in goods to pay for one pound six ounces of onion seed left by Mrs. Merwin the previous May.
