Scope and Contents
Primarily due bills for goods at Boardman's store in New Milford. A note dated 18 Mar 1806 indicates that Jeruel Phillips is to be paid five shillings in butter; one dated 17 Mar 1806 lists one bushel of fine salt and twenty cloves of clover seed as due to Mary Baldwin; one dated 13 Oct 1806 states that Daniel Cable is due goods at Boardman's store or in town orders or six pork barrels. A note to Josiah Lockwood dated 10 Mar 1800 askes that he deliver one hundred dollars to William Leach for which Boardman will pay upon delivery of the note.
