Promissory notes indicating debts owed by Daniel and Elijah Boardman. Few indicate the goods or services received in exchange for the debts they incurred. One dated 1789 Sep 16 due Eli Todd notes that it will be payed in Society Orders to the Treasurer of New Milford. Two notes dated 1789 Jan and 1789 Aug note that payment will be made to the Treasurer of the State Connecticut in Lawrence or Wolcott certificates.
