Yellowstone National Park, 1952
Scope and Contents
This series contains materials related to the transcontinental tour arranged by the American Agriculturist to Alaska taken by Arthur Benjamin and Wilhelmina (Minnie) Karl Webster and others in August 1952. The itinerary included Chicago, Yellowstone National Park, Vancouver, Alaska, and Glacier National Park. This first group of folders contain correspondence related to booking the tour and letters sent from Webster family members to Arthur and Minnie while they were traveling. The second group contains travel documents, souvenirs, brochures, and maps related to train and steamship travel and the places visited. In 1953, the Websters attended a reunion of tour participants in Cooperstown, NY.
