"Memoir of the life and character of Mrs. Mary Anna Boardman" refers to a poem titled "Stanzas, suggested by the death of a young daughter of the Rev. Dr. Schroeder" that was included in Mrs. Mary Noel McDonald's volume of published poems). The author also writes of her beliefs regarding the Episcopal and Congregatonal churches and sends her regards to Cornelia's mother and friends.
