Letter to Cornelia E. Boardman signed EDW written from New Milford, CT. The author notes exerting herself in an effort to get garments done. Notes she would have liked to make a night cap but that she had no help and had to prepare three meals. Mentions calls from Ellen Wright and Mrs. Clark; notes that she fears Cornelia's mother and Aunt Betsy will be fatigued from their visit and nto recover their health. Gives news that Cato lost his babe and buried it on Thursday, Mr. Huntington attended the funeral; names 13 people who came forward for communion; Mrs. C. Northrop has a son; asks Cornelia to hurry home as they need her help with Sunday school.
