Undated [1922, inferred] Masefield replies to Bull’s letter; looks forward to seeing Miss Cor’t; hopes her visit to Oxford will occur when the town revives after Long Vacation; recalls ‘vivid soul’ Henry Cor’t; describes Robert Nichols’ marriage at St Martin’s in-the-Fields [July 11, 1922*] noting church bells, Mrs. Nichols, Nichols’ best man Siegfried Sassoon (the poet), the “Muses” along the aisle; also notes Nichols’ lectureship in Japan.
