Litchfield Green, 1888
Scope and Contents
Print depicting salvaged furniture and goods on the Litchfield Green following a fire. A group of people is visible in the background. Massive fires engulfed West Street buildings on the Litchfield Green in both 1886 and in 1888. A copy of this print is in the Litchfield Historical Society photograph collection described as being the aftermath of the 1888 fire. There is no date or list on the back of this print. "Things on green after big fire in Litchfield" is written on the back in pencil.
