Scope and Contents
Gay and Treadwell on behalf of the Committee write from Farmington regarding the sale of sheep by Rev. Abel Newel and Solomon and Ebenezer Marsh to Stephen Brigham for the market in Boston in apparent violation of a resolution of the Continental Congress; wish the Committee of Goshen to look into the matter; the Committee in Farmington will not allow Brigham to proceed until the Committee has heard from Goshen.
