Five letters, four from Benjamin Talllmadge to John Paine Cushman and one from Maria (Hallett) Tallmadge to Maria (Tallmadge) Cushman. Tallmadge discusses financial matters; compliments Cushman on his tax law; confirms the engagement of lodgings for students at the Litchfield Female Academy; and reports on the marriage of Phebe Tallmadge to the Rev.
