Letter from Morris Woodruff in Greensborough, Georgia to Elihu Harrison, Esq. in Litchfield, consisting of three pages, with discussion of [Orange] Merwin's qualifications for Congress; opposition to districting legislation in Conn. House of Representatives; hopes to be home early in April; most of his time taken up in settling his brother's estate; report of Governor [George Michael] ordering the Georgia militia to be ready to repel "invasion" after President Adams' message to Congress about surveying Indian lands; [etc.] includes a typescript.
