Scope and Contents
On the first page is written "Elihu Harrison's Day Book, Litchfield". This is a small account book containing daily entries and 2 ledger entries. Items sold include oranges, lemons, and codfish. There is also a 2 page narrative about a brawl between a blacksmith and a customer. At this time, Elihu Harrison was still in the South Farms Society [now Morris] of Litchfield.
