Scope and Contents
Sentence against John Morey of Cornwall for punishment of theft. Morey was ordered to be whipped ten stripes on the naked body and to pay a fine to the state. He was to be confined to the jail in Litchfield until the sentence was carried out. Signed by Frederick Wolcott, clerk and includes a notice by sheriff Lynde Lord about the execution of the sentence.
