Scope and Contents
Correspondence starting in May 1828 regarding a law suit by Edward Kellogg & David T. Baldwin vs John Watkins, of the late firm of Watkins & BIrge of Newbury Court House, SC regarding a debt of $2030.07. Kellogg & Baldwin request that Harrison put an attachment on the property of John Watkins. In a letter of 17 Dec 1828, Kellogg & Baldwin write to Harrison that they have sent the note to Silas Bronson requesting him to go to see "what can be done with Watkins". Kellogg & Baldwin's leter of 12 March 1829 request that Harrison and Esq. Sanford continue the suit and obtain judgement as early as possible.
