Bills and receipts from wholesale merchant John Lloyd in New York to Elihu Harrison for merchandise purchased including fabric, pins, & thread. Billheads from 1828 to 1830 describe John Lloyd as a dealer in French and millinery goods, located at No. 432 Pearl Street. In 1831, the firm is named John Lloyd & Co., specializing in French, Italian & India silk goods, millinery articles, etc. and located at No. 130 Pearl Street; and in 1833, the firm is again named John Lloyd.
