Hotchkiss to Elihu Harrison, merchant, in Litchfield regarding the payment on a note of [L?] Van Hoosen, who Hotckiss had expected would have paid via an arrangement with the Pierponts. James Pierpont owed the balance on a wagon in the possession of Sherman Pierpont, but had not paid Mr. Bunnel.
