Lucretia Gross Sheldon complains about her son not writing; reports on clothing she has sent him; an excellent sermon on Sunday; news of family and friends. Referring to the sermon, Daniel Sheldon writes about how he wished his son to be a preacher, describes the preacher's qualities, and advises his son to make these qualities his business, it is consistent eventually to every profession.
