Wadsworth writes from Philadelphia that because Dr. Sheldon has rendered him real services and showed a kind interest in his health, he is convinced Dr. Sheldon will be pleased to hear of his present situation; describes his pains, health condition, and treatments during his trip to and stay in Philadelphia; he has no interest in hearing the advice of the medical men of this place, but would be extremely obliged to Dr. Sheldon if he would give his.
