Dismission [hymn]

A handwritten copy of the words (3 verses) and music for a hymn with the title "Dismission". The first 2 lines of the first verse are: "Lord dismiss us with thy blessing, Bid us all depart in peace." This hymn was printed by Robert Hawker (1753-1827) in a hymnal "Psalms and hymns sung by children of the Sunday school in the Parish church of Charles, Plymouth" printed about 1811.

The Mrs. E.S. Downes album (1923-32-0) is a collection of pressed algae that was given from Mrs. E.S. Downes to Mrs. H.W. Buel (Catharine Laidlaw Buel) on October 5, 1874. The album contains eight samples of pressed algae in various colors and is titled "American Algae or, Flowers of the Sea."
