Kingsbury Family Papers (2015-55-0) Two bound books. Travel Diary documenting the travels of Edith Davies Kingsbury during a tour of Europe in 1891. Taking the Steamship Lahn on January 21 this diary gives a daily account of various places she visited and includes photographs of many of the places. Information includes eating establishments, different foods, hotels, art, along with her fellow travelers. Entries also include meeting the Prince and Princess of Wales before finally returning home by sailing on the Majestic with the last entry date of July 28. "Addresses" (1911), by Frederick John Kingsbury are speeches given, 1880 - 1998, on various subjects mostly about industrial business, pensions, laborers, decisions to live in cities and other economics plights. The book is signed in the front and back.
