The Roger Minot Sherman papers (2011-66-0) consist of a diary and account book used my Roger Minot Sherman. The diary is made up of tables tracking: Miles walked, miles ridden on horseback, miles ridden in a carriage, hours spent reading, and letters.

Biographical or Historical Information
Roger Minot Sherman was a Litchfield Law School student who attended in 1794. Before attending the LLS he attended Yale College in 1792. He was Admitted to the Bar in 1796. He was a State Representative in CT in 1798, a State Senator in CT from 1814 to 1818, a delegate to the Hartford Convention in 1818, and a Judge of the Superior and Supreme Court of CT 1840-4.
