Scope and Contents
Guest book regarding a large dollhouse given to 5-year-old Kathryna Hoffman Ray by her cousin, Mrs. F. Saxham E. Drury in 1929. The book contains news clippings and the signatures of a number of people who viewed the doll house, including Ethel Barrymore, John Barrymore, Noel Coward, Leslie Howard, and other theatrical personalities. Kathryna was the daughter of the Rev. Dr. Randolph Ray, rector of the Church of the Transfiguration (Little Church Around the Corner) in New York City. He owned Elm Ridge in Litchfield, Conn. Kathryna was married three times, the last to Eugene Stetson.
