Scope and Contents
The Litchfield Golf Club Photographs (2010-387-0) consist of four photographs; one of men dressed in women's attire for the "Skirt Tournament" and three featuring people on the front porch of the rustic building that was the Litchfield Golf Club. Each photograph is identified and dated on the verso. Among the people idenified on the back of the photographs are Huntington Merchant, George McNeill, James Woodruff, Origen Seymour, Frederick Woodruff, Elbert P. Roberts, Charles H. Woodruff, Edward W. Seymour, Captain Willis, Seymour Cunningham, L. Bringham, and William H. Sanford.

The Litchfield Golf Club was formed in 1896 and in 1916 joined another golf club in town to form the Litchfield Country Club.
