The billheads from 1827 advertise that Brett sold "Matteawan, Glenham and other celebrated American goods, yarn, wick and batts" and in 1829: "American cotton and woollen goods, from celebrated factories, yarn, candlewick, and batting." On the 1832 bill the firm's name changed to Theo. F. Brett & Doremus.
