Written on a label on the back, "William K. Seymour born in this house (the Episcopal Rectory at Litchfield, Ct.) July 15, 1802. Now living in Rockport NY. Son of Samuel Seymour and Rebecca Osborn Seymour. Dated December 18, 1899."
