Ethan Osborn school bill

A bill or school account submitted by Ethan Osborn and attested as accurate by Isaac Baldwin, justice of peace, Litchfield County on 8 June 1784. It appears to be a list of students with the number of days they attended school and the charge for their attendance. One bill for nine pounds is to be paid in cash or wheat, and the second bill for 9 pounds is to paid in "any sort of grain, wool, flax, or good merchantable white pine boards."

This Writ (CA1890-68-0), dated May 8, 1765, between Rev. Solomon Palmer and Ethan Allen regarding a debt that Allen owed Palmer. The writ, written by clerk Isaac Baldwin, orders the Sheriff to go to Allen's Salisbury, Connecticut residence and seize money and property for the sum owed to Palmer or arrest Allen and bring him to the Litchfield Gaol. A note on the back indicates that the Sheriff was unable to find Allen.
