Biography

Moses Seymour was born at Litchfield, Conn., June 30, 1774, died there May 8, 1826, aged 52. He married Mabel Strong in Addison, Vt., on May 29, 1782 and they had nine children. He was a merchant in Litchfield; postmaster for 25 years; sheriff for six years.
