Five copies of a photograph showing a line of soldiers on horses. One photograph has "Wm. T. Day[illegible] is 5th from the right. World War I" written on back. Another copy has on back "William C. Birge, also in picture Uncle Eugene L. Richards, Frederick Bunnell, Mr. Ernest Smith, Mr. Frank Doyle - probably others from Milton. under the command of Capt. Hobart Guion of Litchfield & Milton."

One copy of soldiers posed not on horses.

Also includes correspondence from Elbert B. Hamlin, who procured the numbers from Morris and donated them to the Litchfield Historical Society, and from Morris in response to Hamlin's request.
