Two letters, in the first Lucy discusses money issues, purchases, and some activities the children have been doing. Included in this letter are two other letters, one from B.F. Parsons regarding the price of school and one from [R.E. Holwel] telling Lucy that an order was denied because it was not paid. In the second letter, Lucy talks about visitors and purchases made. This letter also includes a letter from Harriet which talks about what she is doing at home and a description of what she is going to recite a prayer meeting.
