Scope and Contents
Two letters, in the first letter Lucy talks about family news, what she is trying to get the children for Christmas, what she is doing for festivities, and money matters. Attached to this letter are Edward Phelps’s lines for the Christmas festival. In the second letter, Lucy describes a sleigh ride trip in New Hartford. Attached to this letter is a letter from Harriet Phelps which describes a dress she wore to a meeting, Thanksgiving dinner, playing board games, and Christmas.
